‘Whoever seeks the Devil finds him’
Luciferina is a 2018 Argentinian supernatural horror film written and directed by Gonzalo Calzada (Resurrectión; The Clairvoyant’s Prayer). It stars Victoria Carreras, Gastón Cocchiarale, Agustin Daulte, and Sofía Del Tuffo.
Natalia (Sofía Del Tuffo) is a nineteen-year-old novice who reluctantly returns home to say goodbye to her dying father. However, when she meets up with her sister and her friends, she decides instead to travel the jungle in search of mystical plant.
There, instead of pleasure, they encounter a world of Black Masses, strange pregnancies, bloody deaths and for young nun Natalia, a sexually violent clash with the Devil himself…
The North American rights for Luciferina have been picked up by Artsploitation Films who will release the film during 2018, initially via selected film festivals, followed by Blu-ray and VOD.
