Downrange is a 2017 American thriller film directed by Ryuhei Kitamura (Midnight Meat Train; Godzilla: Final Wars; Versus) from a screenplay co-written with Joey O’Bryan. It stars Kelly Connaire, Stephanie Pearson, Rod Hernandez-Farella, Anthony Kirlew, Alexa Yeames, Jason Tobias.
Six college students are carpooling cross-country when one of their tyres blows out on a desolate stretch of country road. As they begin to fix the flat tyre, they soon realise that this was no accident. The tyre was shot out.
With their vehicle incapacitated, the group is pinned down and mercilessly attacked by an unseen assailant as they desperately attempt to find a way to escape…
