Glass is a 2019 American science fiction horror film written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan (The Visit; Signs; The Sixth Sense). It will be a sequel to his films Unbreakable (2000) and Split (2016).
On his Twitter page, Shyamalan has confirmed that original Unbreakable stars Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson (Snakes on a Plane) will return; alongside James McAvoy and Anya Taylor Joy from Split.
The title Glass appears to suggest that the new movie will be focus on Samuel L. Jackson’s super villain character, although it seems the intention is to fully integrate the story arcs of the two previous films.
Shyamalan posted that Universal Pictures is planning to release Glass on January 18, 2019.
