Living Dark is a 2013 American horror film directed by David Hunt from a screenplay co-written with Kevin Brown. It stars Chris Cleveland, Matthew Alan and Mark Hayter.
Two brothers, reunited for their father’s funeral, stumble upon the entrance to a nearby cave, where they are slowly forced to confront the true, nightmarish nature of what caused of their father’s death.
Inside the hidden cavern, the brothers discover a fist-sized hole leading to an unexplored virgin passage. Ted and Brade descend into obsession, returning day after day in a relentless effort to widen the opening and gain access to the terrifying unknown passage beyond…
The film was shown at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2013 and Festival de Cine de Terror in Spain on 6 November 2014.
In the UK, Living Dark is released on DVD by Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment on 11 September 2017.
