Truth or Dare is a forthcoming 2017 supernatural horror film to be directed by Jeff Wadlow (Cry_Wolf) from a screenplay co-written with Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs. The trio crafted the story with Michael Reisz.
Jason Blum (The Gift; Insidious; Paranormal Activity) and Couper Samuelson are producing the movie, with Wadlow and Roach on board as executive producers.
Blumhouse Productions has just had two critical and box office successes with M. Night Shyamalan’s Split ($257.4 million) and Jordan Peele’s Get Out ($139.4 million).
Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale (Scream 4; Fear Island) will play the lead role.
