The Nun is a 2017 American supernatural horror film directed by Corin Hardy (The Hallow) from a screenplay by James Wan (Saw) and Gary Dauberman (IT; Wolves at the Door; Swamp Monkey).
Like the Annabelle movies, the film is an offshoot from The Conjuring franchise.
The Atomic Monster/New Line Cinema/Safran Company film is currently in pre-production. The plot has yet to be revealed but will obviously focus on a demonic nun.
