Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is a 2017 American fantasy swashbuckler dark fantasy film, and the fifth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. The reported budget is a breathtaking $320 million.
The film was directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg from a script by Jeff Nathanson, with Jerry Bruckheimer serving again as producer.

Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally returned to star as Jack Sparrow, Hector Barbossa, and Joshamee Gibbs, respectively. After not appearing in the fourth installment, On Stranger Tides, the film features the return of Orlando Bloom as Will Turner. It also stars Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, Brenton Thwaites as Henry, Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth.
The film is set to be released in movie theaters in Digital 3-D, RealD 3D, and IMAX 3D formats on May 26, 2017.
