The Gift – original title Weirdo – is a 2015 Australian-American psychological thriller film written, co-produced, and directed by Joel Edgerton for Blumhouse Productions and Blue-Tongue Films. It stars Jason Bateman, Rebecca Hall, and Edgerton.
The film is released in the USA and UK on August 7, 2015.

Simon and Robyn are a young married couple whose life is going just as planned until a chance encounter with an acquaintance of Simon’s from high school sends their world into a tailspin.
